He's actually more motivated by me turning the tub on a trickle for him to drink *fresh* water than he is by treats!
He's actually very demanding about it, multiple times a day 😸

I'm more interested in building one though than a fully assembled unit or a kit. In other words, it's more the PCB, controller, and firmware that need to be Mac compatible. The switches and frame/case and keycaps don't really matter in that regard as I can easily buy keycaps that come with Mac keys

I realize pretty much any keyboard will work on a Mac, that's not what I'm after. I'm looking for something designed from the ground up with Mac in mind. It doesn't even look like Drops full keyboard kits come with Mac keys and if I have to buy those elsewhere then I'm gonna buy the KB elsewhere

Ideally looking for a 100% board with the 10-key, or at the very least a decent 10-key board I can build to match. I don't want to have to connect it to Windows system to change the color, etc. and I can't run Linux on my M4 Mac (yet?) 😭

Putting the item to be cleaned in a ziploc keeps the main tank itself clean and requires less solvent. Just be sure to use something non-flammable 😄

Regarding solvents, many people suggest filling them with distilled water and then putting the item you want to clean in a ziploc bag with a smaller amount of cleaner, something like MG Chemicals (a.co/d/bX2t4Vp) or Branson EC (a bit pricey), or check out Elma, Crest, L&R, and SharperTek options

Super fair! They do make larger (30 liter for example) versions like this one that has both 28 kHz and 40 kHz settings that I've had my eye on, but they're more expensive of course a.co/d/0BCVg5m

Ultrasonic cleaners are great for cleaning (most) PCBs as well. You can pick small ones up for not much, just make sure it's 40 kHz or higher and don't use it on certain things like accelerometers or microphones. YouTube has some great videos with more info
