trust, there are better ways to get partner than slaving your life away for crumbs.

you’re already doing it here, you could probably extend that much further so you’re not completely drained. for example, youtube content as a vtuber.

anyway i’ll get off my soapbox lol

partner shouldn’t be forced if you’re trying not turn burn out. a lot of people who do partner pushes go right back down to lower viewership.

it’s a shiny badge, not the endgame. partner will come from the fruits of your labor, focus on attracting returning viewers, not numbers alone

go and download it, try it out, especially if you’ve been looking to get away from Adobe for a long time.

you now have literally zero excuse.

thank you for listening to my TED Talk

overall, great changes, and the fact that Affinity is allowed to thrive and be well off without completely sucking Canva’s dick is great!

i hope this trend continues that their promise of “free for everyone forever” remains well in good hands.

there is nothing that’s needed at all to enjoy and use Affinity. just that you download and have fun like we have been for the longest time with the previous paid apps.

i am personally really happy that they did this, it means i can recommend the app to even more people without much hassle

you can go download it for completely free, just need a Canva account, which brings me to my next point.

no, you are not paying a dime. the Canva Pro subscription is only there for AI features. so if you’re that opposed to using AI, you can just not pay. it’s entirely optional
