When Floronic Man used the term "efflorescently" on page 6, the asterisked "editor's note" (actually writer's note) read: "Check your dictionary. -- Snotty Ger."

Thank you, Nate. I've found that the set kerning in some ComicCraft fonts move the letters too close together, to the point that they touch when set to italics for emphasis. I actually have to move the letters apart in those cases.

The Paul Levitz and Bob Rozakis caricatures in “The Story Behind the Story” were illustrated by MAD MAGAZINE's Dave Manak in 1976 -- originally created for THE AMAZING WORLD OF DC COMICS #13, in a feature titled “Inside the Amazing World”, which was essentially a rundown of the fanzine’s staff.

I'm being trivially pedantic, I know... but that is *not* the ring of Abin Sur. That ring was destroyed by Evil Star in Green Lantern v2 #37. That particular ring in Green Lantern #198 is the upgraded model he received from the Guardians in Green Lantern (Green Arrow) #90

The interview stated that Mr. Byrne inked all of the Amazing-Grace-as-Wonder-Woman figures as well (but he left the tattoo in pencil... likely so it would NOT show up in publication)...
