I haven't had such a fun, relaxed, full reading year since I was a teen and this has been a gift in so many ways 🤩 fun conversations about books, discovering book-related podcasts,improved focus and mental health, re-learning to just enjoy stuff.

I like the percentage of books I got from sources such as library, friends or the free shelves not just because of less consumerism etc, but because those are more likely to be books I stumbled upon randomly and would not have picked up at a store or been recommended by an algorithm 💖

Oh wow, no I haven't! It looks very ✨ aesthetic though, let me know how it goes! I would expect it to have a lot less give or flexibility than a modern yarn or even a wool yarn, so yeah, aiming for less tension might be a good idea?

Selbst wenn man sich keine juristische Bewertung anmaßen möchte - die Polizei ist offenbar nicht in der Lage, adäquat mit Menschen in psychischer Not umzugehen, zumal nicht mit rassifizierten Personen. Soweit nichts Neues.

Das Gericht bleibt damit noch hinter der StA zurück, die eine Bewährungsstrafe gefordert hatte. Der Junge war mit dem Messer, mit dem er sich hatte suizidieren wollen, auf Polizist*innen zugerannt, als diese ihn massiv mit Pfefferspray eindeckten. Die Bodycams waren natürlich ausgeschaltet...
