I'm mocking up a plan for an office project for over winter break. BF I get too deep into this, checking with ppl from/used to live in/just more aware of Queens, Manhattan & Brooklyn to make sure I don't have something really dumb going on (like the Empire State Bldg shorter than the Flatiron).

Working on a MCU NY Skyline to create something for my office. I needed Avengers Tower in Manhattan. Plus this has Brooklyn & the Statue of Liberty. I am wondering if I should modify Lady Liberty or not. Opinions? I could probably handle a small circle with a star cutout...

Ok ppl. In Thunderbolts*, the Void only covers Manhattan. Ergo it's safe to assume Kate, Stephen, Matt, Jessica, Frank, Danny & Luke got sucked in. Wilson Fisk too. You know what didn't get Voided: Brooklyn, Queens & Jersey. So Peter & Kamala were likely safe. (My sad map below).

Reading a fanfic where Darcy is sent to 1942 Brooklyn. The author keeps talking about how Bucky and Steve think she's in her underwear bc she's in mid-thigh shorts. He's also thinking he's never seen lipstick that red. Uh. See example of shorts from the 40s and 40s lipstick. It's 1940s not 1840s 🙄

I might be Tar Heel born and Tar Heel bred, but I also came of age during the 80s when I recall the word "Smurfs" being used to describe the football team. So I've just collected other football teams over the years (Go Blue, Fight Tigers!)

I need to do some more red and finish the mouths and eyes but what did you do on your holiday. I painted a Red Rage Monster President, a court martialed Cap, and a proud Soviet Russian super-soldier. I'm trying to not be too harsh on my skills.

I haven't done the @nytimes.com quizzes in like 2 months bc I've been avoiding news, but I am trying to figure out a way to keep abreast of what's going on and not end up sobbing in the fetal position under my desk. However for as bad as I did on current news 📰, I'm still ace-ing the history 📜 quiz.

I love a good thunderstorm. I don't like waking up to a bad headache that now seems determined to evolve into migraine. Everything is too bright, too loud, and too fragrant. But too much to do to crawl back in bed. Anyone good at trepanning?

Watching a documentary on the history of breakfast. Now I really want some old world hot chocolate (plus if served with churros). And Vietnamese coffee. And a cup of chai. A French brekkie, croissant and mimosa. A hearty bowl of cheese grits. Hotcakes with honey.
