A better idea would be to completely de risk from US tech companies. Fines are just the cost of doing business for the trillion dollar American tech oligarchs.

Don't worry Michael is really concerned about it. Even...dare I say it...deeply concerned. It's such a big priority FFG might even take the drastic and hasty measure of setting up a task force or, god forbid, a cross departmental committee. Maybe the AG can advise on how to ban climate change...

She actually has become more "mainstream" Dem. Tempered her stance on Israel. Overall she's okay but unfortunately it comes with being a Dem that the corpo stuff will leak into you. She voted present on extra $1B for Isrl (2021), voted against cutting $500M (2025), voted yes for IHRA definition too.

I find it hilarious that they banned Facebook, Instagram etc but excluded Roblox, the platform with probably the most well documented number of predators and actual risks to really young kids. Total joke. Parents should not be handing their kid unrestricted internet access. Parental controls exist..

My question is: What deployments of the Irish Defence Forces does FFG foresee that the UN Security Council would not approve? If Ireland is truly neutral, as they claim, then surely seeking UN Security Council authorization for any deployment would be the most neutral approach possible.

About time. It's great we are in CERN now but I remember my secondary school science teacher lamenting that we weren't part of CERN, that was a decade ago. Better late than never I suppose.

I don't understand the point of removing these workarounds as they are only used by power users or IT businesses. Your average user will use a MS account when prompted which is fine but let others use these workarounds. And all you need is to try domain join it and it won't ask for a MS account...
