I dislike seeing the phone in pictures too. I've been trying to up my photo taking game, but I'm finding it tough to make them not look painfully awkward. I've got one of those ring light phone holder things, and it certainly helps, but I haven't found my angles yet, I fear :/

Shoulders and upper arm are usually fine. Your shoulder cap hurts, and the ridges under your shoulder cap hurt, but they hurt in a weird way; you feel it in your sternum, your hips, and your knees when you’re getting tattooed over bone, so it just hurts in places you aren’t really prepared for

Aye. If you have any questions about pain in any area, I’ve run the gamut of tattooing weird places. No genital/butt tattoos, but everything else has something on it, including one of the soles of my feet! Wouldn’t recommend that spot.

Most of mine were done when I was a tattoo apprentice, but I’ve gotten stuff done here and there since then. For instance, I got my ear tattooed down in Reading by a girl who does mostly sacred geometry stuff, and I’ve got an appointment in February with an artist in Glasgow.
