My last 2 dedicated readers have #book 6 in my #fantasy series and I'm nervous and emotionally drained.
A Bedtime Tale isn't just a series I'm #writing, it's my end of life therapy. In it I'm revealing and working out a lot about myself as I get ready to die.

This past month after the stroke's been full of relearning things; walking, using my left arm, talking, handwriting, and... painfully... #art.
I did, however, manage #writing #book six in my #fantasy series. Threw some color on a pre stroke #sketch to celebrate?

Got a chance to visit my old job at @alleninstitute.org and look out over #LakeUnion in #Seattle. It's a view I never thought I'd see again, but it got to fill my eyes and heart one more time.
My career ended there on Sept. 26, 2023. What a great place to close a legacy. I'm forever grateful.

I've never found my way into #BookSky so I don't know if it's universal that #writing your #story there's this turning point - a point of no return - where events turn serious, momentum picks up, and the #plot hurtles at speed to the end.
