My take is that the corporate class is especially upset about tariffs but not so much bothered about the human rights violations and is very much cheered by the destruction of the regulatory agencies. So, you see media pushback on tariffs but not these other topics.

Uhmmm…. Slight correction: “MOST of them will choose Trump’s own words over their own eyes and ears.” Anyone who watches Fox News gets such a mountain of propaganda and lies that they have zero concept of reality. Fox News lays the foundation, then Trump waltzes over a very gullible audience.
