When my youngest son was at Playcentre 24-ish years ago, there were baby boy and girl dolls to play with (bathing them was popular).

This, from Toy World, might be okay / not too creepy.

Making the most of our short time here 😁

We're on a tour, so we've seen / will see a lot of the island while we're here.

Yesterday we were north at Wharekauri, today we went to Owenga (for an oral history of the Moriori) and visited the Kopinga Marae.

Tomorrow, it's off to Kaingaroa.

Staying at Hotel Chatham, but in their new accommodation up the hill, the Forget Me Not Suites. Very nice.

Husband went on a fishing charter today; they caught loads of blue cod and hapuka / groper. Also a shark that got thrown back, alive.

Oh, I didn't know that - but that explains the Weka in your name 😊.

Arrived yesterday, saw a beaked whale carcass washed up on the beach.

Today, we searched for fossilised shark teeth on the beach.

Weather has been good, locals friendly, and there are lots of lovely dogs to pat.

We're currently on the Chatham Islands (part of the former Rongotai electorate) - ridiculous to have it come under the name, "Wellington Bays".

It's been on the bucket list for a while. Husband is taking a fishing rod, hoping to catch a blue cod or two.

Wow! I haven't been to Invers for years but that stuck in my memory files.

Invercargill? I remember a tower (a water tower?) in that otherwise flat city.

Hope so.

I know it well.

Just checked Wikipedia - it was re-released in March 1991 and was UK No. 1 for a time - and I was living in the UK then.

Just checked my health record - also my 10th one and 6 months plus a day since my previous one.

This was me on Wednesday. I've also not (knowingly) had covid.

Vaccine side effects limited to a sore arm for maybe 24 hours.

I did the maths on that - an average of 250 fraudulent breath tests per cop.
