I found one paper that looks at R01s comparing final score with preliminary scores, but admittedly I'm not very familiar with grant review and things have changed a bit since 2009. Anecdotally, do you feel like prelim and final scores tend to differ?

Maybe... 🤞 At least mine is a resubmission so I've got comments already to work off of, might be a tougher time for initial submissions I think :/

so relatable 😂 I've started telling the undergrad (and myself) to add the primers into Benchling and use their generate PCR product option with the primers before actually ordering them
