I give them a pass - barely - because they are coming at it from the anti-government tinfoil-hat perspective , rather than the “Numbers go up!! mine crypto and fuck the environment, rugpull or die!” side of things - They also have some free newspapers there with actual tinfoil headwear ads…

It only meets those needs in the most nebulous, tortured, “technically ticks the audit box” manner. The only thing it seems to have been able to do in an effective manner was the deployment of some 3rd party software in 2020…

I’ve come to the conclusion that Stockholm syndrome is the only reason for it’s continued existence, and the developers feed off anguish and despair. Each time I try and dig to make use of the of the features it technically has, I uncover another layer of intentionally bad functionality.

I use Solarwinds (not by choice) and I don’t think it’s bad - That’s too mild of description. I don’t think it’s possible for it to be better, as the development objective seems to have been to make the most broken, tortured interface to accomplish a few basic functions, while still “ticking a box”
