Postie MD ANT (Incredibly!!)
Sorry. That was a couple of weeks after I'd been made redundant from a job I'd had for 30 years and I think we were both slightly addled! Walking on a glass floor wasn't as terrifying as losing your job aged 54!

After I was made redundant in 2019, we came up there for a 'clear our heads' break. And we had a day there. It was just the perfect place to be silly and be a tourist. But I wouldn't like to make it a habit. Here we are up the Tower.

To test Tidal I've been using my Top Tracks playlist (link in the above post) it's my Swiss Army knife of playlists, about 2500 tracks of various stuff. Everything sounds better using Tidal. Clarity, separation, detail, bass, mids, it just sounds more musical. Recommended. 2/2

The thing back then was that we could (within reason) stock what we liked. I worked in Worthing, so we had a fairly elderly customer base and we could have large classical section, bigger than most stores. But we also stocked stuff that the youngsters (me) would recommend. It was quite exciting.

I only just managed to get Relax and the Smiths past my censorious colleagues, I was really pushing it with JAMC.

I put it on in the Boots record dept I worked in. I think it lasted about 90 seconds before it was roughly removed from the turntable. Never to be heard again.

Many thanks Kev, but we had a laugh about it. Jo has worked for HMRC* for 40 years and knows how slow they catch up with things! The funeral was last week, so it was a relief to get that done. And we are sorting out her finances now so a very quiet Xmas this year.

*Not in tax collection though.

Jo had a letter last week saying that her mum owes about £1200. We didnt tell her because she died last month. #DeathandTaxes

I missed your post Eddie, but I knew someone with your impeccable taste would have copy! Like you I thought that this wouldn't be much cop because I'd never seen anything about it. But it's an undiscovered gem and dirt cheap as well.

When ever anyone posts about Cass I always boringly pipe up about this wonderful album. It's one of my firm favourites, but a shame that they couldn't have put her on the cover as well. She is on the back.

I thinks?? Sorry!

I am 100% that something 'unsavoury' will come out about him at sometime in the not too distant future. He gives me the icks, as the young people say*

*I thinks.

About £100 I'm afraid. I'll be okay with my £1 jug, I think!

About 30-40 records but it is amazing how dirty they get. Don't forget the plastic filter at the bottom of the tank that you need the tool thingy to remove. That has some gunk build-up sometimes.
