Records show that shortlisted District 4 supervisor candidate Tiffany Deng was a registered Republican from 2020 to 2022 and missed 9 consecutive elections until this month.

She's no longer a candidate.

After talking to tech barons, Trump tells Mayor Lurie he's "calling off" a "surge" of feds to SF.

It's not clear if this applies to ICE/Border Patrol or just to the Nat'l Guard. It's not clear what will befall other area cities.

Yesterday supervisors proposed their amendments to SF's upzoning plan.

Some amendments were modest, like one to remove some 300 landmarks from the plan. Others were not. One removed all existing housing.

Proposals include increasing the percentage of large, family-friendly units and removing historical buildings.

The car was speeding down Cortland Ave when the crash happened. Residents say speeding on Cortland is frequent and want reforms.
