I do think that the PS5 and especially the Xbox are falling prey to PC gaming, with its enormous catalog, effectively limitless backwards-compatibility, and frequent sales. But they're appealing to a different kind of player. Sony could have built out a catalog with couch co-op games, but didn’t.

Everyone locks on to the monster franchises like 3D Mario, Kart, Smash, and Pokémon, but overlooks that there enough people out there with fond memories of second-tier stuff like Luigi’s Mansion or the Mario sports titles to make them respectable hits every time there’s a new game in the series. 2/x

We’ve had fairly good results with the Nhuad, finishing two Kirby games with it (Star Allies and Return to Dreamland), and that’s what he’s using for Air Riders. Less successful on Mario vs. DK.
