that's the basics! there are also paradigm shifts, class improvements, feat consolidation, and feat atrophy, but im done posting... here's how Magra built himself tho. most people plateau around the mid 10s, early 20s, and it's pretty uncommon for little to get past level 30

lastly, capstone feats are just turbo charged core feats, but they are more influenced by your previous feats. rule of thumb is that a capstone feat is pretty much a core feat you'd get in 10 levels
a popular and very basic capstone is [Second Wind], which energizes and reduces pain and bleeding

attributes feats improve basic aspects of yourself: Strength, Agility, Constitution, Memory, Perception, and Spirit
they start at lesser and can gain up to 4 improvements, but you can't gain further boosts in one attribute until certain levels. you gain moderate boosts at 25, greater at 45

skill feats are for passive abilities. knowledge feats, such as [Basic Smithing], are like having a book in your head with easy access to information on that topic. [Improved Footwork] is a popular combat skill feat, while most people just get stuff for their hobbies, like [Eraser Paws]

core feats are where you get active abilities and magic. at level 2, everyone gets offered the basic magic feat for their element, like [Lesser Fire Control]. [Power Strike] is a very basic core feat for warriors, while mages might pick a [Sorceries] feat, which grants quick cast spells

core feats determine your class, and you can pick skill feats as core feats. so if you pick a bunch of combat feats as your cores, you'll change to the [Warrior] class. the class determines what levels you up the best, so a [Warrior] levels up best while fighting, even if other things can level them

sad about it in general, I've been trying to get myself to write more but work has been really fucking me up in that regard.. my writing project has been stagnant at 89k words of my 150k goal, and words per day i need to write to meet my deadline has been going up and up 🥴
