It's a great question. I think it boils down to cognitive predisposition and legacy voting. They still go on about the economy, but you look at America, UK post Brexit, the right in France, and even in Canada. Absolutely terrible on the economy. They chase ghosts and grievance. That's it.

At US TG I made a guest walk away from a conversation when I pointed out Harris received no votes in a Dem district in NY. And that lawsuits are coming. And that a raft of maths profs are on record saying the 88 swing districts (EIGHTY EIGHT, c'mon!!!) could not have been won by the margins they did
