Maybe unable to call, but even when they can call, they may be unable to call emergency numbers, see this example from Australia where a woman couldn't call 000 (their 911 or 112), when burglars entered her home. She could reach her brother, who called the cops www.abc.net.au/news/2025-10...

Sharing as it's an interesting insight into what Beijing might want from a deal.
I can't imagine, for example, that there's any way Brussels could commit to stopping member states from intervening in situations they deem to be in their national security, whatever the situation

Wilders now repeats an easily debunked conspiracy theory that the software used to tabulate the votes is written by a D66 politician. Except it isn't the company HackDefense did security audits. Mind you, this isn't voting software, just tabulation, like excel photos.app.goo.gl/Hf5JNq1dvh34...

Wilders had 15K votes in Zaanstad, much more than D66. Number of total votes similar to previous years. So even Wilders should have known that these messages are fake app.nos.nl/nieuws/tk202...
