Did you know that Asian elephant herds are made up of mothers, daughters and young males? Herds are led by the oldest female, the matriarch. Sometimes herds join together, creating groups of 60+ elephants! This program is a collaboration with our FZS partners, and the Ministry of Forestry 🌳
