This one took **years** to find its shape.

Writing Experience Platform felt like trying to distill everything I’ve learned about systems, collaboration, and care into one piece. It’s complex, textured, and deeply personal, but it finally feels right. Coming very soon.

Making progress on the first batch of Faro articles. The process has brought a lot of reflection and a few bittersweet memories, but it’s also been a quiet kind of therapy. I’m looking forward to sharing it soon.

LOL, perfect timing. I must admit I’ve done it a few times too 😅

Terrified to share, but after nearly two years of sporadic effort, Faro is finally starting to take its final shape. Built with love using @astro.build and a hacky version of Starlight. Coming soon-ish!

Some nice quote styles for a side project that has been in the oven for way too long 🧑‍🍳

“In today’s episode, I’ll spend an unreasonable amount of time on details that not everyone will notice or appreciate, but that make me happy: twinkling and shooting stars.”

We took the kids to the OXO video games museum in Madrid yesterday. I had so much fun showing them the stuff I grew up with: Pong, Golden Axe, Half Life… most of the good old things. I missed some of the best graphic adventures like Monkey Island or DOT. They loved it, nevertheless!

I spent some time yesterday porting one of my favorite Atom themes to @zed.dev github.com/hejrobin/gloom. I'll likely ask Robin for permission to release this 😊

Hugeicons is one of the most beautiful and versatile icon libraries currently available. It offers over 40K icons divided into nine different visual styles. *Incredible* value for the price. I’ve been using them for a while at work and in personal projects, and I’m in love hugeicons.com

Three years later, we returned to the Horse Lighthouse (Faro del Caballo) to fulfill a promise we made to the children. The hike was truly worth it.

My new favorite is atmos.style, which works exactly as I expect, with access to OKCLH color space, P3 color gamut, and visual controls with curves and all the stuff you'd need to create something nice! 💖

Who would have thought I would be able to change system icons after all these years, just like in the good old days? This makes me unreasonably happy. I only miss my Agua trash by David Lanham 😊

We concluded a difficult year for our family by taking a chilly walk along the banks of the Tajo River with the children. My little one is gradually recovering and will soon return to school with his friends. Wishing everyone a happy new year!

Themes and modes are different things, indeed. Themes operate at a context level, while system modes operate at the OS level.

LOL. Spotify did a better job filtering these.

It has been incredibly difficult to present with a knot in my stomach and tears in my eyes, but it has also been liberating to share this story with others.

I love you, my little star 💫

During the pandemic, I gained 10 kg. Last year, I realized that I needed to take care of myself in order to care for my son.

I started in January with 20 minutes of exercise a day, four days a week. I’ve gradually increased it to 30-40 minutes, five days. Strength, HIIT, core, yoga, and rowing 🚣

I’ve finally bought some of these Tado X radiator valves. They’re really easy to install and configure. Also, they have child lock, which is great.
