My spotify wrap was totally messed up by the angry-white-boy music my loving husband listens to (to my chagrin). Hozier did manage to be my top artist. So I have hope for his taste in music, I guess 🤷🏼♀️

Oh, so this is what burnout felt like. I had forgotten after 9 days of blissful happiness with no access to email and meetings.

Jade Legacy is probably going to be my best book of 2024. The levels of ugly cries and sobbing I experienced are so far unmatched by any other book this year.

To avoid the existential dread from being too loud in day 3 of my PTO i went back to watercolor painting. The dread is gone, but it's been replaced by hate for not getting the painting exactly how i want it.

One of the things I like about BlueSky that I hadn't realized I was missing from the algorithm based sites is that if you scroll long enough, you got the last point you left, and you're done for a while.

Hate to hate on a good story just because the author did not let the character actually talk to each other. The inner monologues in some books get out of hand sometimes for no good reason.
