Voters punished Democrats by squarely taking their grievances, loading it into the chamber and pointing it directly to their own heads. I really do think the message of affordability, K shaped wage gaps, and good old fashioned racism was not something Corpo Dems were prepared to fight.

Never capitulate to these incompetent goons. There is no satisfying them. Fight them in courts, fight them in the streets, classrooms, and the wallet.

Trump and his regime is weak, relying on fear to obey in advance. They cannot be satiated but they can be stopped.

It likely would come down to performative checkpoints, attacking leadership and any organized cells. ICE raids in NYC are proving to be more and more difficult due to organized resistance. Violence is the inevitable outcome of this goonery.

Absolutely, it would be naive to assume it would be two clean sides. Multi-polar is likely, especially on class/racial lines that exist very much now.

The US would not sustain a war with its own populace. It would immediately lead to the arrests of state leadership, asymmetrical fighting, loss of infrastructure, and sustained terror driven by ideological violence until a new power structure emerged. Soap Box, Ballot Box, Jury Box, Ammo Box.

Did not vote was the largest voting bloc. TN and US have a massive voter suppression problem.

I will continue not watching or supporting FIFA. Somehow I'll manage.

No public funds are available during this period. Mamdani is essentially running a huge HR campaign to fill key positions and get the most qualified applicants. Other admins are cheaper because they already knew who would join, typically wealthy donors to grease their own interests.

Sadly "not voting" continues to be the largest bloc.

It's also been sliding more blue YoY, this nerd is definitely not safe in the next election.

Wood chipper. Feet first. Inch by inch, until all of the fascism is reminded it had no place in America. We will not forget and we will demand justice.

No dipshit - a human cannot be illegal. The issue of how they came over and what circumstance is mostly civil, not criminal. The government doesn't track harassing citizens but propublica has counted over 170 cases this year alone. Fuck ICE and fuck you

The "massive" part comes from inbound administrative duties and participation of an "open call" for the best for the job. You can be cynical on the outcomes but at least be informed on the methodology.

Vetting 70,000 applications, HR operations, policy/legal operations, agency audits, etc. staff must be paid and they cannot legally use any city based operations yet. This includes Day 1 strategy orders. They want to hit the ground running and are transparent about it.

Thanks for your opinion based on nothing 👍 keep coasting on being uninformed

This isn't literally about a building. It's about the people and policy working in it.

If you aren't going to bother to look it up: Over 25,600 individual donors, average $75. Public campaign finance matching funds do not apply to the transition period. Once the election is over, the Mayor-elect is a private citizen running a massive HR and policy operation until he is sworn in.

Hey dipshit - Over 25,600 individual donors, average $75. Public campaign finance matching funds do not apply to the transition period. Once the election is over, the Mayor-elect is effectively a private citizen running a massive HR and policy operation until he is sworn in.
