I’m spending the weekend in La Rochelle 🇫🇷 & the city is full of bikes (never seen so many cargos) & pedestrians. The old city is mostly pedestrian. It’s quiet. There are cafes & restaurant w/ patios everywhere. It’s vibrant & buzzing. It’s wonderful & there are awesome pâtisseries at every corner. 😆

Yesterday I finished restoring a cycling gem, keeping its original patina intact. It’s a GARRY bicycle from the 50’s, made in Winnipeg 🇨🇦, sold across the prairies. Wheels w/ double pinstripes from a ‘37 CCM w/ coast braking in hub. New tires w/ white pinstripes. I bet it’s the ONLY one in France 1/2
