Right!? I am CONSTANTLY told I “should” learn x, y, and z. Yet… I’ve been doing effective ritual and magic for almost 20 years now and never had to do a single thing I’m not interested in yet it still works… Weird right? 😂😂😂😂

I’ve come to the point where my marathon has turned into a completely different athletic event and I’m having to start all the way over 😂😂 I love that analogy.

So for someone first starting out, who doesn’t have those connections, would you suggest just not doing spells or rituals??

Oh I like that! It sounds very efficient and also fulfilling. And how would you suggest someone who doesn’t experience spirits or the like go about forming a relationship like that? Just simple acts like talking to the plant? Learning about it?

That’s all really interesting! I don’t do have any spiritual allies, or deities, etc, and I’ve been exploring other avenues for witchcraft. Animism is incredibly interesting.

So does that mean you don’t use them until you have a connection?? And what do you do if you need an herb you don’t have a connection with? Just forgo the spell until you do?
