But at the end, gilroy was being super dismissive of the Ahsoka show, despite being asked only about Rebels, and Sabine's breakthrough, dismissing "throwing someone 100 feet." Also pointing out he wasn't part of the Ahsoka show makes the statement as a whole seem petty and full of sour grapes.

It depends. Some movies/shows enhance others or add context in the overall story. It's great when projects do that.
