pitchfork review As my posterchild for this movement, I select Hood. (I also accept donations.) Cold House takes a fantastic batch of songs and intelligently mixes in cutting edge electronic elements a la Autechre and Nobukazu Takemura, a couple of west coast underground hip-hop artists, and some delicate backing arrangements, and creates one of the most innovative releases of the past year. The biggest surprise on Cold House is the guest pots by Anticon MCs Dose-One and Why?. I'm not sure how Hood hooked up with the San Francisco rappers, but their inclusion here was a brilhant decision. The duo's scat lyrics and drum-n-bass delivery really temper the album, preventing it from becoming too soft at points. Chris Hood's lead vocals aren't very inspiring, falling limply somewhere between Badly Drawn Boy and Bernard Sumner, but by mixing in the slit cut vocals, spoken word and psychobabble riffing, a perfect contrast

starting to halfway believe that for hEDS, which i am now 99.99% sure is the type of hypermobility i have, stabilizing compression garments are like The Vitamin. kinda wish they would have told me this in 2017 when i went to see the pain specialists and the ortho and did physical therapy
tumblr most my deepest darkest fantasy is that i collapse on the street and i am rushed to the hospital. they perform a bunch of tests and find out i am severely deficient in some kind of vitamin. then i start taking the vitamin and i become the happiest cleverest person alive because all my problems were caused by this one deficiency moreover, everyone gathers around to be tremulously compassionate and discreetly admiring: all this time, you lacked the Vitamin? and yet you persevered?

someone on snapchat complimented my "new haircut". i love it when after a haircut my hair is like four inches longer
me, from top of head down maybe eight inches past my shoulders in a wig that goes down several inches past my shoulders. no makeup, green shirt blue hoodie. both wigs are brown with highlights, the one on the right with a little more red in it me in a wig that touches my shoulders. in lingerie cropped so you can't see anything (most illustrative pic of this wig recently, sorry)

just got my @aarktica.bsky.social No Solace In Sleep reissue test pressing in the mail! thank you so much Jon. truly a classic album, dear to me for a long time, and hugely influential on how i developed as a guitarist
