I loved this years one-shots, but what I really wanted was a crossover series as a modern follow-up to the 70's Marvel Godzilla. I'm happy to say this is (the 1st act of) that series I've wanted for decades. Javier Garron's art is truly titanic. 👍

These crossovers are always fun. The stakes are non-existent so its fully fuelled by character interactions with art from some of the industries top talent. The #Marvel issue is a much better read, but the #DC framing of the event is incredible. 👍

This is absurdly awesome. He's massive with 6 bendy tentacles and a movable eye. I fear the bendiness won't age. I know #Marvel lost the name #Shuma-Gorath, but the inspiration #Shub-Niggurath is public domain, so it should remain an homage to #H.P.Lovecraft 🤟

This easily has the best action of the #Marvel Animation projects. The problem is the subject demands heightened drama & the emotion falls flat outside the first episode. It's littered with genius small details that really flesh out the world between truly epic set pieces. 👍

Hickman on #Marvel Cosmic is a dream, so I feel bad saying I would have preferred an ongoing. Like #GODS, the new direction is promising but it needed a shocking climax to truly mark the event. The powerful chaotic art adds anime flair to the action. 👍

They replaced the weak combat with an innovative system using the right stick to attack in any direction, a precursor to #Batman Arkham's combat focused on crowd control. It can be clunky but helps give it a unique personality. Blade really only has good games. 👍

This was setup to lose. The off-putting #MCU synergy, the protagonist effectively being an ICE agent & the tired death of a hero trope. Plus, Silver Surfer: Requiem already did it & was a masterpiece. While this was a miss, I hope it leads to more #Warbound. 👎

Her finish looks more oily than silver. I am also sick of boards having only a single peg to stand on. I remember when the original Surfer had a magnetic board. I wasn't big on this take to begin with, so this is a miss across the board. 👎

I am always excited for Greg Pak to revisit his legendary #Hulk run. Hulk is currently back in the armour as #GreenScar in #Imperial, so I wrongly assumed this would be contemporary. Unfortunately, this feels more like a back up story from a deluxe anthology comic. 😑

The graphics, presentation & story are all impressive. #Wolverine is voiced by Mark Hamill. It's primarily a stealth game & is hard as hell without checkpoints. The healing factor ironically makes you feel weak cause it forces you into hiding. 👍

Alessandro Miracolo swiping other #X-Men artists work was a terrible first impression and the #SaraGrey final arc left a bad taste in my mouth. That said, in between was some of the fun cosmic adventure #Marvel has been lacking, including appearances from Hickman's new #GODS. 👍

They have really pushed the #WhatIf art direction to the next level. The editing and pacing of the action scenes are exhilarating. Setting it at the submerged Raft prison was genius. #Namor is the best #Marvel Zombie yet. He was ripping through there like a horror icon. 🤟
