...for sunrises and Milky Way shots. People grow over time, and the photos I take today in no way suggest I "missed out" because I didn't start a decade earlier.

The internet's young people also keep selling this nonsense about doing stuff when you're young or you permanently miss out. I'm the living counterexample of that: the me of 10 years earlier, a grad student, had a snowball's hope in hell of affording a full-frame camera and going to the mountains...

I'm an episode behind in my posts, but I've got a few thoughts on Spy x Family's third season that I hope share soon. The third season's continuing to sustain the enjoyment factor I've had since it began back in 2022, and there's a few things worth bringing up there at the thematic level 🙂

That's basically me, except for the fact that I go outside, my degree isn't exactly useless (or so I'd like to think), and I'm not a vTuber.

For me, though, I prefer full-frame simply because the larger sensor means 1) wider landscapes and 2) better light-gathering for astrophotography. Anyone who's seen my photos will understand why I like having a bigger sensor.

Marin's choice of camera, amusingly enough, mirrors why I chose the Sony A7III: when I bought it, it had the biggest discount between Sony, Canon and Nikon. I didn't do any research into codecs or lens ecosystems when I started my journey.

An APS-C Camera is cheaper, lighter weight and crops tighter, making it a great cosplay option. I myself would be tempted to go with a Sony A6700 if I were purely doing cosplay photography.
