I totally agree with you but the election also showed me that there are Americans who have vastly different values than mine.
I would love to say that leaders who can be respectful, thoughtful and display empathy show us the best of who we can be BUT some people like bullies (I don’t!).

Did they humiliate themselves? That might be our opinion, but I’m not sure that their supporters see this behavior as disgraceful. An unfortunate truth of what we have become.
