It particularly sucks spending so much time on a ref and realizing part of the way through that the face isn’t what I was looking for and is “too” beaky. Like, I want to incorporate a bit of a beak in one of my forms for my love of dinos and birds, but I dunno if dragon is it.

Still trying to figure out a “look” for my sona. Like, I love what I currently have - don’t get me wrong - but I’ve been experimenting with face and snout shapes so that I can draw them more consistently. I also want to figure out the whole neck fluff look.

Here's a piece I'm particularly proud of: a half trace of Isabella's pose! I tried to keep a sort of 8-bit color scheme until I realized I probably could try a lot harder if I wanted to stick more directly to it.

Wanted to update my sona design a bit!
As much as I enjoy drawing my sona slim-ish, I'm actually quite fond of my heft and would rather have my sona be close to my natural size!

I actually finished all of Venture Bros. last year on my own, but since my partner and I had been working through it together, it was nice to close it out with the movie! Still the GOAT of adult animation. While personally I don't think it's the best out of VB, it's still a strong closer!

My partner and I have been going through several horror movies. This was one of his requests. Adored the use of color and the intense image burn at the end. Lots of themes of abuse sprinkled in there too.

Just something to pass the time with prior to Great God Gulch’s release and it was on sale. Engine building games are a lot of fun. Have a lot of respect for games that give you all the tools for success at the start and leave you to figure out how to use them.

My time with Rise of the Golden Idol was like a rollercoaster. It started strong, teetered a bit, but ultimately finished well. I feel like the fill-in puzzles are a little iffy, but it thrives off strong writing and a genuinely captivating mystery that somehow ties up every thread it makes.
