I appreciated the QoL upgrades!
I did not appreciate the group battles or the loss of that adventuring spirit and exploration the OG had.

Definitely excited to start DQ2!

That completes the #Switch2 Super Mario Galaxy 2 playthrough! Why drink coffee when you could just get the heart pumping from the nerves of playing through The Perfect Run?

I’ve done this before 15 years ago, but man I must’ve forgotten how tedious it was to get all 120 of these damn Green Stars! The more I play Mario Galaxy 2, the more I realize how much better Galaxy 1 is.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is cursed for me. When I first played it back in 2010, I got sick and had to get medical attention. What happened this past week during my 2025 playthrough?
Yup, you guessed it. ER visit for sepsis. I’ll give my thoughts about this game at SOME point.

Completing the hattrick and best Castlevania: Dracula X for the first time.
This was…painful, to say the least. Music was good and sprites great looking, but the difficulty (especially vs Dracula) SUCKED.

And that’s it - I’ve finally beaten Castlevania Rondo of Blood with Richter! So happy about this, especially since this was the last 2D Castlevania I had yet to beat.

It might be the “easy mode”, but dammit I *finally* beat Castlevania Rondo of Blood!

Potential spoiler warning with this video of the exact moment of victory, but g***amn was that last boss HARD. But worthy of the name Hollow Knight.

Holy crap is Silksong tough!! The bosses are one thing - the platforming is on a whole other level! It really does feel like Hollow Knight 2.0.

Also includes beating Stormy Ascent. What a pain!
