Huge if true
The annual #QualityStreet audit isn’t looking good for lovers of the orange creme. Also shrinkflation has drastically hit the purple one. @inequalitystreet.bsky.social

Can we get some undercover investigations in Oz? This is troubling.

Popping open a tub of Roses is a depressing experience now - I want to pop the lid off a beautiful tin and see those individually foil-wrapped gems

An unnerving display of blue.
Annual Quality Street audit done. As usual, poor show on the ABC triangles and chock-a-blocks, loads of the strawberry ones and blue ones I don’t like. 2kg tin @inequalitystreet.bsky.social

Jim from accounts is going to be mighty disappointed when he goes in for a big purple one, and comes out with mulligatawny. @inequalitystreet.bsky.social

Controversial but brave opinion
imo this is a change for the better, more strawberry and orange cremes/crunches is an absolute win
A disparity of 12 Caramel Swirls (14.3%) to 4 Green Triangles (4.8%). Delve deeper and the picture is bleak. Weighing in at just 8.2g each, their 32.8g contribution to the tin represents an even more paltry 4.1% of the overall 800g tin - Hang your heads in shame, Quality Street.

The question remains: Is this apparent inequality limited to Inequality Street HQ and the tins we’ve procured? Send us your chocolate audits for the world to see.

Over at Cadburys the world is fairer. A top to bottom spread of 10 Golden Barrels & 10 Caramels (13.2% each) to 7 Signature Truffles (9.2%). A shout out to the folks at Bournville for the fact that their 800g tin is Christmas-Tree-Busting 818g when you include the wrappers.
