if it makes you feel any better, one time a teacher friend of mine from undergrad got an absolutely FOUL email going off on her about how the guy had read her syllabus and how dare she teach critical race theory and indoctrinate kids and blah blah blah. she was an art teacher. it was color theory

this is so real. i feel like anytime i read a book i can immediately tell if the person is used to writing fanfic because fanfic is structurally so different than most traditional stuff. it's looser and plays off almost more like a series of interconnected vignettes

flashbacks to that one time i did this exact sequence of events like "oh, it's the last chapter, i'm almost done!" and then the chapter was 80k words

i JUST finished hidden inventory last night and that’s for sure the arc i’ve enjoyed the most out of the whole thing thus far. it made me somewhat frustrated with jjk0 and how geto was handled there, but hidden inventory itself was quite good

there are aspects i'm enjoying but also. what the fuck is the pacing in this show
