Some people watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles on Thanksgiving weekend. We opted to watch The Last Waltz.

I just found a work case use for AI and I hate it.

But the amount of prompts it needed to get to my results proves how complicated it would have been to do myself. It was over 17k+ items I had to manually handle.

I’ll still be over here hating AI (and excel, and fuzzy logic, and , and, and…)

I had to schedule a follow up visit to my doc and call and dispute some insurance charges. AND I have to feed this body???

Staying alive is a scam.

I sat on the floor and successfully got up with no difficulty. A thing I haven’t been able to do in 5ish months.

I also found my missing earrings and located my lost pants.

It’s a red letter day around here. Also it’s the little joys that keep me going.

I curse a delivery driver who opts to put my package in front of the garage and not at the front door. This is the second one I’ve run over not knowing it was there.

Thankfully it was just a dent. The last one was a wash. Sorry furnace filters!

Me: I’m going to be super helpful and do this thing in advance.

Also me: did the thing on the wrong dates and created more work for my team.

In a virtual conference where the in person attendees are encouraged to “talk amongst themselves” and the amount of noise in the stream is infuriating.

I’m already irritated in the keynote so this does not bode well for the entire conference.

What does one do with old socks? Textile recycling?

I’m not talking about a pair or two. I’m looking to do a clean out.

Have you worked with a textile recycling org that you recommend?

I spent so much money on nasal spray at CVS that the cashier gave me a bag of freebies. I guess she felt bad for me.

Revisiting this in light of the Megyn Kelly comments. Disgusting.
Just finished the Virginia Giuffre book and oof is that a whole lot.

Arguing for sex with a minor because we can’t agree to what age makes someone a minor is real disgusting stuff.

When you start listening to a new book and it’s dedicated to the front man of your favorite band.

This is maybe the most unexpected place that Frightened Rabbit has show up for me.

Just revealed my album of the day and it’s Stankonia. Coincidentally I’ve been singing B.O.B. for the last 24 hours after seeing Tyler the Creator cover it for the RRHOF.

What professor, in this day and age, requires their students to have a minimum of 3 physical books for their research paper? Ebooks don’t count apparently.

While walking the dog yesterday, I had a tree branch hit me in the face. Almost impossibly, it missed my glasses and hit me in my eyeball. My eye has been irritated since.

As if my vision wasn’t bad enough right now, let’s add in extra dumb injuries.

I just told the dog that the cat is way too spicy for friendship.

And honestly, some days I can relate.
