We're in a new (to us) apt & the top of the baseboards are flat ledges about 3/4" across. I guess they're built of regular lumber not molding. So they really collect the dust. Guess I need one of these!

I'm lucky enough to live in NYC with ample opportunity to shop locally, not from big-box or big corporations. I LOVE shopping on EBay, often buying vintage or 2nd hand items from sellers who are real people.
