In the footage, I don't recognise those people, and that CEO just falls down out of nowhere.

Sorry, I don't see a crime being committed.

"'cause Obie came to the realization that it was a typical case of American blind justice,

and there wasn't nothing he could do about it, "

I did the math on this for fun and I found that a humanoid robot takes about as much power as a computer

Assuming we're still running at 110 volts AC we're looking at about 1.4 kilowatts to charge of battery about 20% over a half hour.

7kWh battery lasting 48 hours =145W.

Thats something.

By your suggestion. I'm waiting on the "Kill All Humans" moment.

@halfbakedrhymes.com I figured I'd take a page out of your book and do some poetry

Godzilla

Your atomic fire breath may burn down all of tokyo bay

But when you hold me, your radioactive heart keeps me warm through and through.

And the screams turn to silence as you gently rock me to sleep.

Ok so I found it.

Huh.

But like these are all kind of lifestyle things.

These all look like things that can be prevented with a Social Safety Net and being able to take care of your family...

A strong support system?

Community that knows what someone at risk looks like?

Maybe education?

Really enjoyed Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera.

The last quarter or so caught me by surprise. It was neat to see an urban fantasy (really urban folktale/fable); fiction that i normally wouldn't pick up, but really stuck with me.

Automatic Noodle seems like a post war, 1960s immigrant story.

It feels like it says a lot about reclaiming words, building community and integration.
These are all things that are really important to me personally, even though I'm an outsider as a third generation Italian

This phrasing is so concerning.

Antifa is an organization the same way that a school of fish has teachers.

There is no one leading the class. It's a group of creatures that decided to swim in the same direction.

Bluesky Moderation, do better.

I think we're a lot of things, a spectrum if you will.

I do not normally post pics like these, but once in a while, when you see something out in the wild, you have to post it.
