A relic of a bygone era . . .
Mid millennials and older probably recognize this! (USian ones anyone) I imagine younger than that probably not 👵😅
On my hand is a small mostly round object. It is semi-translucent plastic and is sort of disc shaped but with one flat side. It is blue and says “BORDERS” in white. It’s about 1.5in across and 1/4in deep. Same object in my hand, but I have turned it to show the flattened side. It’s not totally flat, there is an inset part that’s sort of a trough shape with edges sticking up. A tiny square part is darker than the rest. The side I’m showing is about 1/4in the short way.

A collection of glazed clay forms, some spheres and some flatter disc-like shapes, ranging from about softball sized to large beach ball sized, in various dark or earthy tones. The forms are arranged with varying spacing on a white curving platform.

I love waves against rocks so much. I could have sat in this spot for hours.
An ocean wave moving into a V shaped area of rocky shore. As the wave churns it is so white and foamy it looks like opaque white shaving cream in spots. The motion of the wave is apparent in little sprays and splashes of water against the rocks. A small area of clearer greenish to dark blue water is furthest out. The sun shines and gleams off the wet rocks.

Some very good ocean last weekend 🌊🥰
A vertical image of ocean close to high tide. Many layers of small waves move towards sand and some rocks in the very foreground. Further back a wave crests into white foam spray that reaches towards cottony clouds in a partly clear blue sky. The layers of waves and clouds reach far off towards a bit of dark ocean at the horizon line.
