On Thursday 27 November, cafes, bars and restaurants across Copenhagen pledged to donate proceeds from peak trading hours to raise funds for Palestinian journalists.

17 venues took part, raising over 40,000 DKK in a single day.

On 8 December 2024, the fall of the Assad regime transformed the Syrian media landscape overnight.

At #GIJC25 today, IMS advisor Henrik Grunnet moderated a panel about documenting war crimes. The speakers-Su Chay (Myanmar), Hadi al Khatib (Syria, Yemen, Sudan) and Yevheniia Motorevska (Ukraine)-spoke about the challenges of finding evidence of war crimes.
