A little picnic in the park (just no food)
The ice the my tree in my front yard is barely maybe 2mm thick, and is already melting (we are JUST above freezing, so the thin layer of ice on everything is melting already).
Still a slight chance of losing power tomorrow if the winds pick up, but I think we're in the clear with Fern otherwise

Even though it means the roads will be trash for a few days (it's sleeting here), I will take sleet ANY DAY over freezing rain because it means no real ice accumulation on the trees or powerlines.

Locking backs are nice and I do have some of those, but I actually prefer the ones that require a little hex key cause they actually seem to stay in place better and are easier to take on/off (they also are great for lanyards)

Opened the app to be greeted with this BS. Closed it just as fast, cause HELL to the naw am I giving them access to my location. I'd rather just delete the app than agree to their new TOS (I would delete my acct, but I'm not hitting agree to do so)

I will say if we DO lose power, I won't be bored cause I have stuff to work on (packing for my upcoming move, handsewing, reading, & I can pencil comic thumbs on paper for Act III), and I have music to listen to.
The only worry I have is keeping the house warm til said power comes back on

Made sure the gas logs were ready to go cause if we get this much ice in my area, I don't foresee us NOT losing power at some point. Also if we get this much ice, I won't be able to leave my house next week til it melts (I have an appt on Tuesday I now have to call & move)

Being that there really isn't any actual antagonist in A Souls Lament, I guess Numskull gets to become Death itself?
