I FORGOT TO ADD WAY EARLIER-- if you go to "sign up" and use your email tied to your discord you'll more than likely get an email saying "you have an acc tied to that email reset your password or sign in with it", just reset your password and sign in from there, I had to do it that way sadly...

It's a separate acc from your actual discord you gotta make, I ran into that the same way.
