38 seconds of work on the Douglass portrait.

This past March, I experienced the tremendous honor of having my portrait of Frederick Douglass installed permanently at the historic Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts. This commission was a wonderful and life changing project for me. #blacksky

I plan to complete this large drawing in 2025. I’ve been hovering over it for a few years, now. It’s a work that addresses introspection and internal dialogues through self-portraiture. I don’t intend on adding color to this work. It is strong as a linear black/white drawing #blacksky #artsky #art
