A straight out lie from Danny Kruger MP at Reform's event today.

He said that asylum seekers go straight to the top of the council housing list.

In fact they are *banned by law* from accessing council housing.

This is actually worse than I thought it would be. And some classic far-right stuff: using the pretext of an "emergency" of "uncontrolled illegal migration" to disapply the UN convention against torture.
The UK version of “Project 2025” by the Reform party includes a British ICE, a concentration camp for 24,000 people, mass surveillance and withdrawing from refugee, anti-torture and anti-trafficking conventions.

It’s on their website. That’s how comfortable fascists are in the UK today.

If this is the new Government line, it's going to be so easy to disprove.
"1 in 5 pupils are getting a SEND diagnosis..the vast majority then trip into the benefit system because they get child disability allowance allowance.'

This is completely false from Milburn. He's supposed to be reviewing this issue and he's just making things up. Inexcusable.

I've found Drs can be reluctant to give a diagnosis when there isn't a cure/treatment - as they don't see the point. But in reality it is vital to know what's up! Knowing as much as we can about our body/brain makes a huge difference to how well we can manage our health.
