I follow the federal courts on immigration. Used to be that pretty much everything was Circuit Court appeals of BIA decisions.

Now, I'm seeing over 60% Habeas petitions at the DC level -- most of them granted, often with scathing opinions for the BIA.

Nothin' to do be keep habeasin'.

Such a dilemma for the administration! They need to simultaneously claim that prices are falling, but hit migrants with an inflation increase to their fees.

Where would we be without doublethink?

Especially for LGBTQ asylum seekers, always make sure to also propose an "imputed" version of the PSG. The important thing is that the persecutor *thought* you were in the group.
