RIP Grandma's dog, Chi-Chi.
Some of them might be dumb enough to think so. But I think someone (bannon? Miller?) thinks they can inspire enough chaos either ahead of or on election day for federal authorities to need to "restore order" and somehow fuck it that way.

You oughta quote the post that inspired this one. I can vaguely agree, but ducking under the "complexity" of a given issue is also a common refrain amongst politicians with egg on their face.

Came here to say this. At best, this is a model deciding what would be funny (desired) output on this platform. It wouldn't know how to convey the language to other agents in a concealed way to begin with even if it were capable of sincerity.

Doubt on its face, but also Dems have plenty of time and opportunities to blow it before fall--to say nothing of possible rigging/cancelation of elections, which a year ago I probably would have considered unrealistic.

Sure, there will be useful idiots to join the bandwagon. But even if it starts nothing more than 4channers creating their own rage content, it snowballs into the image of "blue hairs calling everything a Nazi".
Interestingly, I never saw the "Taylor a Nazi" accusations on bsky, the lib bubble.

As with the Sydney Sweeney stuff (regardless of however right her politics are in actuality), I've felt half-certain this stuff's actual target is left legitimacy. The ostensible target is just for visibility. Pretend we're woke and be as annoying as possible. It's a better executed "blacks rule".

Lacking evidence, I'm fully prepared to believe that it's real or exaggerated or wholly fabricated. It matters, but it doesn't change the moral gravity of the genocide in any case. And I can't take it seriously until it's not both politically convenient and unfalsifiable, though preferably neither.

You're graded first on how well you know the material. You don't have to agree with it. In fact, picking apart material you disagree with in earnest, instead of just covering your ears and screaming like a child is half of what college is for, and something professors usually admire over recitation.

They did the same thing to me. The whole "you're gonna fly jets" shtick. I think anyone who does any better than dumber-than-rocks gets that to make sure the thoughtful types go through with swearing in. They shuttle you in to do so right after.

When I was young and sort of aimless, I considered joining the army. I went in to do the preliminary stuff with the recruiter, meps/asvab. They had a series of questions about my Oscar Wilde tattoo to make sure what it meant to me wasn't in some kind of conflict.

I haven't purchased a video game in many years, but I would pay good money for an open world, single-player adventure style game that featured Herzog as the voice of a recurring mystic throughout--but the studio can only give him a prompt and has to let him write the dialogue.

His eyebrows are permanently stuck in the "unimpressed" position, yet he himself is unremarkable. Dreadful combo.
