We are but if you are fox, their viewers are not. You are not the target for this appearance. And truth be told, Democrats are in their own bubble. As a party and as voters we can and should do two things (or more) at once.

As a lifetime MacHead (and summer intern many many moons ago), Tim Cook has been the most disappointing of all the executives.

When one of them says something like Robbie Bach has, maybe I’ll listen. And wait until I start believing.

An Abdication of Leadership | Robbie Bach | 94 comments
As we lurch from one crisis and self-inflicted injury to another, our country is suffering from lack of effective leadership. Clearly that is true in government, but our business leaders are also abs...

Given that a lot of hotel staff fit the “profile” ice goes after, having ICE stay on property would definitely impact the hotel staff.

I’m waiting to see if everyone boycotts the World Cup matches planned for USA sites.

They literally made a whole FICTIONAL movie about this 🙄

In this case life imitates art.

I remember when my dad and his wife started to decline. Probably around 80 years old. And as much as I loved them, they were angry difficult people in denial. With so many enablers and scaffolding around Trump, this is going to be a long haul for all of us regardless of politics.

More and more climbing gyms are adding “sensory” programs and spaces for the neurodivergent community.

I’ll write in English so I’m clearer. TSA & TDAH are not the same of course but some of the approches to support our kids can be similar. Noise & distraction are challenges for both. My daughter wears AirPods when she climbs. In competitions, people are quiet. It works for her.

A- draft grade. A couple of weeks with 200+ points.

Dead last 😭

I’ve had him since week one. Benched him weeks ago. I had an “A-“ draft—chase, Jacobs, dicker, McBride, James cook. Should have been my year.

I’m in the Toilet bowl for playoffs looking at last place.

Sigh…

I did the sourdough thing. I’ll leave that to the others—it was months of torture; it was Covid so what else was there to do?

I switched to yeast bread & my family is very happy (plus way less work). This recipe makes the best bread for grilled cheese ever.

Right there with you. Between that and checking email addresses and phone numbers for spam accounts, looking for bots, scammers and spammers, life is exhausting. It’s not even a first world problem anymore-it feels like an existential crisis.

The article cites Yakima DC. Yakima is in WASHINGTON state not Washington DC. The facts need to be accurate or the article helps no one. For the love of god, the right may not care about fact checking but the rest of us should.

The natural disasters in WA hit red voting districts the hardest so by holding fema or transportation funds to “punish” a blue state is actually hurting their own voters most.
December 23, 2025 at 4:33 PM
That’s my point. I live in a no tax state. I would advocate for a state income tax if it meant my tax dollars didn’t go to the feds but to my own state. Currently I have no choice but to pay the fed taxes leaving my state in the hands of a vindictive administration.

Ironically, thanks to the BBB the SALT deduction was extended to 2029.
Per H&R Block
* up to $40,000, adjusted for inflation, in state and local taxes for tax years 2025- 2029 (for most filing statuses).
*reduced if you make over $500k jointly or $250k separately.

It’s almost enough to propose they enact income taxes in Washington state so we can deduct them from our federal tax bill…

The sick irony is that in at least one blue state (WA), the areas most harmed by the floods and the threat by this Administration are all red districts.
