Yay! I'm on social media! First time Bluesky user! ...now what?

NOTE: I have NO connection or affiliation with "imagineinkjet.bsky.social".

I used a random username generator to pick my handle so the similarity is purely coincidental.
I think they just know their primary audience; the type of viewer who wouldn't appreciate more creative exposition b/c they're otherwise "preoccupied." 😆

I see what you're saying. Using a single 3D rendered frame rather than an animated sequence and applying 2D animation time saving tricks that work with stills like parallax pans, slow zoom-ins etc etc...

Might be a time constraint/resource issue? Every change in angle requires a new rendering pass. Depending on complexities of their software, workflow, scene, lighting set-up (etc), that could take considerable time. Some creators may not have their own, or afford access to, a rendering farm.

If you had that tattooed on your forehead you could save a lot of time over the course of your life.

...or his entire family.

North Korea enforces generational punishment ("yeonjwaje") as a means of control.

That's is my fear. GOP will engineer wins by thin margins in swing states etc.🤔 It'll be a huge red flag if the GOP doesn't pay any political price after the mid-terms in spite of all the damage they've inflicted on US jobs, rights & freedoms, the economy, academia, gov. departments & services etc.

LLMs and other forms of GenAI are research-level discoveries that are dangerously being tested on the general public as if they're products.

That's why they're expensive, broken, and in a constant arms race for dominance.

The lesson is the same as always: billionaires shouldn't exist.

This is what happens when you think that making deals that are mutually beneficial shows weakness, all deals are zero sum games, and you repeatedly frame trade partners as parasites that take advantage of the US when it suits you.

For sure. Just 119 days in office & he tanked the US economy with chaos, , created mass unemployment, destroyed relations & trust w/allies. Defunding academia & science will make the US less intelligent, less competitive down the road. None of this makes any sense unless sabotage is the goal.

A deterrent has got to really hurt. They should make fines a percentage of quarterly or annual revenue.

That's awesome!

❓❓❓ I haven't added you to any lists.

We do have something in common though.

I see via ClearSky that back on 2/28/2025, ottomanvampire added you to his 'hate for Palestinian/Arab' list like he did to me.
May 17, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Cool!

Will you be able to do this as well?

The new GOP-approved Trump Signature™ Modesty Fashion Line will take the chore out of deciding what to wear!

And don't forget to cover up them ankles, ladies!

Ugh, that's not going to work in today's online hellscape. I read about Bsky's stackable approach to moderation but it doesn't say what can be done when the user/community tools become the weapon of choice for psy-ops, trolls & bullying clout goblins with big follower counts.

I'm surprised that the public block list concept wasn't thoroughly gamed out first by Bluesky to explore the ways it could be abused. I feel a bit silly for not seeing the potential abuse myself. I guess I was too enamored with having more tools to fully curate my user experience.

All good points. I'm using a number of lists but only a few are actually data-driven while everything else is list owner's discretion. I'm usually not so naïve but admittedly I took it for granted lists would be used as intended. I'll have to re-evaluate my list use.

I agree that the list SHOULD be deleted. The list still shows up on services like ClearSky so ppl unfairly put on it can still be wrongly portrayed as racists.

I both love & hate these mod lists. They work great when competently administered but so many ppl have ill intent or questionable judgment.
May 14, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Absolutely. You don't ever give a pass to the ppl who are, at this very moment, destroying the US on many levels & conspiring with its adversaries because you want to "heal the country." It's thanks to these ppl that you might not have a country left in a few years.
May 14, 2025 at 12:59 PM
Adding ppl who don't really belong on that list may be one reason why Bsky mods have hidden it. He added me to that list & I'm no racist. I don't know who or what this "Dearborn" is that he's referred to.
