Did another pass of my campfire sketch.
I replaced the older male (see below) with a more teenage camp counselor.
Much better, more relatable.

some great advice from my picture book art rep, I totally revised my campfire story concept.
In the first illustration I changed the shot angle for a more dramatic effect, and stripped down the details so there’s room for text, makes for a more clearer story.

My goal now is to illustrate new concepts over the winter and refresh my portfolio. This idea is more suitable for YA or middle-grade readers, but it would be good to have in the portfolio.
