Its a weird cross between survey textbook and well spun tale of the big men of the revolution.
Time will tell if he achieves his goal of writing a real historians founding myth for america rather than getting ‘sucked into the weeds of ordinary people’ or however he dismissed prior works

It just maybe feels like prof Amar is so absorbed in reading through all this correspondence that im not sure if hes weighing properly people who weren’t, you know, well educated property holders.

We're seeing possibly the worst attendance in history. Even in creative writing classes, where students generally want to participate and have their voice heard--they're not showing up, ignoring guidelines and feedback, and either describing expectations as "unclear" or simply refusing to comply.

TL;DR: the *actual* poverty line in the US for a family of four with two young children is about $140,000, and there isn't much improvement in quality of life between $40K and $100K.
