Did you know that books make great gifts? 😉

Greeks Bearing Gifts—a “Twilight Zone” meets Stephen King horror novella (spooky, not scary)

Outlaws—a contemporary retelling of the Robin Hood legend with Robin and his Merry Men as homeless veterans

Now that Thanksgiving dinner is done, I can focus on this scarf. I’m a little more than halfway done with it. I want it finished by Sunday, so I can wear it Monday when our temps plunge.

Last week-ish, I saw a sale on dog Halloween costumes and found 2 costumes that were perfect for Penny and Ozzie. I ordered them. They arrived today.

Grease would have been the word next Halloween.

Thank you all for your condolences.

I’m going to be scarce around here for a day or two while I wrap my head around this.

In the meantime, here’s the last picture I took of Penny:

Took today off from work (to give myself a much-needed 4 day weekend). Went out to lunch and then stopped at Half Price Books, where I found the last Trixie Belden I needed to complete my collection!

I had one job for today, and it’s done.

✅ Winter gear is out and organized.

The rest of the day is for reading, crocheting, and TV.
