Measles causes severe complications in 10–30% of cases (hospitalisation, pneumonia, encephalitis) & death in 1 - 2 per 1,000. Yet some imbeciles think they know better than health professionals, refuse vaccination & put their children & those of others at risk.

Looks like a happy lad 😺

TBH it's more likely to end with his death, he's visibly declining. Imagine what's being done behind the scenes to keep him alive.

The people behind the scenes will be happy enough to continue with a patsy like Vance. But they do have a big problem in getting an electable patsy into power in 3 years time. They need someone who will happily play their game while having Trump like popularity for the moronic masses.

If Trump dies or steps back or is impeached and removed then Vance becomes president. Vance is highly unlikely to die and too vain + ambitious to step back. If Vance were to step down, then Trump nominates a new VP to be approved by senate & the house.

Vance can only be replaced by election or impeachment. The Vice Presidency is an elected position. If Trump goes then I guess Vance could be impeached, but I doubt they'd do that. He's a useful idiot.

He will be most certainly be president 'cause there's no way Trump can survive another 3 years with all his health issues.

....and we get banal statements like this. I was kind of hoping that at least Labour politicians would be doing this as a matter of course, ho hum 🙄
February 9, 2026 at 12:35 PM
I find it so weird that all these politicians could become loved and adored by everyone if they just did what people need, rather than only think of themselves (obvs not all of them, but a large majority).

Isn't that one part of the definition of a politician - someone who thinks their abilities out-match reality.

While I try to avoid AI, I now find that some of my simple Google searches trigger Google AI. So what was once a search for facts or a source of facts has become more than I want/need.

This screenshot refers to the USA, but I doubt it's different here in the UK. I'm happy that we let everyone in and hopefully make up for our "native" work-shy racist bigots.

What a very strange viewpoint - being threatened by immigration despite partly coming from that background. Things change & always will. My hometown pretty much no longer exists. Get used to it, because that's how life is. Legislating against this sort of change will never help & is extreme folly.

Of course he'll stay and keep digging holes to fall into. Oh what a mess.

The xenophobic immigration policy. It's a disgrace and has no place in Labour policies.

Not true. People experience a huge variation in taste from one individual to the next. What might be a very peaty whisky for one person has almost no peat at all for the next. This massive variation in taste sensitivity has been well researched and documented.
